Yes, I was there. Day went ok. Test was really great fun...mostly a motocrossers affair with a few logs thrown in. Course was much the same as last year but it felt very short. A very quick day that left me feeling that I hadn't actually ridden an enduro. Maybe I should have ridden in clubman class. Definitely an option for next year.

I'm nothing if not consistent and managed to crash in front of the camera a few hundred yards from the end.

Thanks to all involved.

Wink

I rode it despite the hand injury I picked up at Selkirk. Kind of wishing I hadn't now!

It was a really nice course and things were going well until I fell off and cracked a few ribs. I think someone somewhere is trying to tell me something!!

Really enjoyed the special test. Obviously a wee bit of thought had gone into it to make it a wee bit different from the norm. Nice touch I thought.

Many thanks to the organisers and also to the weather for a cracking day!

My body is now looking forward to a rest for the next few months.

I was at it. I helped set out the test, one of my tasks was being the guinea pig for testing the log section, so I had a little insider knowledge Wink I hadn't been round the rest of the going though and like the auld git found the course felt very short after Selkirk. It was a nice variety of terrain though, and with the dry and sunny weather, it wasnt too hard to keep up a reasonable pace. The last few events have been going ok so Im planning to run clubman next year. Either the full bifta clubman, or the slacker-timed clubman B thats rumoured to be coming next season. Time for some off season training I reckon! Smile
